Natural Wart Removal – Easy Ways to Get Rid of Warts at Home

Do you want to get rid of a wart lacking the time and expense of going to a doctor? Or does the thought of using harsh chemicals or freezing compounds on your skin seem nearly as harsh as the wart itself? Then you might be relieved to know that there are several all natural remedies for warts and many of them use common household items that you may already have or be able to find in your local grocery store.

Warts are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). This virus infects the top layer of the skin. It forms a wart by causing the skin cells to grow more rapidly than normal. Natural wart confiscation methods work by one of two ways. They either starve the wart of oxygen or burn away the wart with a mild acid.

Starving a wart of oxygen can be done in several ways. The basic principle is to cover the wart itself with a touch to prevent oxygen from penetrating to the skin. One of the most well loved methods of this is by using everyone’s pet all purpose fix everything tool, yes, you guessed it, duct tape.

Take a piece of duct tape, cut it so it is large enough to fully cover the wart and the surrounding skin. Place it on the wart and leave it there. If the duct tape gets loose, then replace it with a new piece of tape. Continue to keep the wart roofed until the wart eventually falls off.

If you do not have any duct tape, don’t despair. People have also had clear consequences from covering the wart with a coating of nail polish or super glue. These can be excellent alternatives for warts that are in highly noticeable places such as warts on the fingers and hands.

For the more adventurous, warts can be burned away using a mild acid such as acid cider vinegar. Depending on the place of the wart, and the sensitivity of your skin, the vinegar method can be adjusted to your comfort level. If your skin is very insightful, then place a light coating of oil jelly around the outside of the wart. Lightly swab the wart with apple cider vinegar and allow it to dry. Continue to do this throughout the day as you reckon of it.

For a more aggressive actions, apply the vinegar to a small piece of cotton large enough to cover the go up of the wart. Place a thin layer of oil jelly around the surrounding skin. Place the vinegar soaked cotton over the wart, then hold in place with a bandage or piece of tape. Duct tape will work here, too, and can be most effective for overnight use. Repeat daily until the wart falls off.

If you don’t have apple cider vinegar in the house, lemon or lime juice can be used as a substitution for. These and other natural remedies for removing warts are safe and effective alternatives to caustic chemicals and expensive medical procedures.
