There are quite a few uncommon types of warts, but all are caused by a virus. In fact, warts are really benign tumors on your skin which are caused by the human papillomavirus. This virus causes a thickening of the skin which consequences in what we call warts.
Unlike what you might have heard, warts do not have roots and are merely presented in the epidermis. What happens is the virus invades the skin cells and causes the cells to reproduce at a quicker rate than normal. This is what causes the “bump” of the wart – which is simply too many skin cells trying to fit into a compressed space. Warts can appear at any time, and they can also expire on their own lacking any actions.

Flat Warts
These warts are flat topped and smoother than other types of warts. You often see them on the face since the wart grows a small differently on facial skin giving a uncommon advent.
Common Wart
